Jim Cipriani - CFT, CSCS, was born and raised in Connecticut where he lives today. He has a passion for health and fitness that began when he was very young.
Jim started training to augment his performance on the football field and that is when he was bitten by the fitness bug. While successfully competing as a football athlete, he followed his passion for sports and physical performance, majoring in Health Fitness at Springfield College, Massachusetts.
In addition to his academic knowledge, Jim sought an education in the “real world,” working with athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all types at major health clubs. After college, he became certified by both the International Sports Science Association and the National Federation of Personal Trainers.
For over ten years, Jim has been helping individuals from all walks of life create measurable improvements in their health, physiques and performance.
Jim is a respected authority within the fitness community and has published numerous articles for magazines and websites, appeared on radio shows, and conducted seminars.
He is the owner/head trainer of Cutting Edge Personal Training which is based in Western Connecticut. He offers a free fitness consultation for those interested in improving their health and fitness.
Jim’s ongoing mission in life is to help individuals achieve a fit and healthy body, perform at their highest levels, and achieve a greater sense of energy and well-being.
