A freelance writer/editor since 1993, Phyllis Hanlon has written non-fiction articles, book reviews, human-interest stories, profiles and award-winning essays for more than 50 local, regional and national publications.
She has covered a variety of subjects, including health/medicine, fitness, psychology, religion, education, finance/business and the food industry. She also teaches writing for magazines in an adult education program and has provided public relations services for several companies. When she’s not writing, Phyllis enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, working out and reading.
