David A. Cox

David A. Cox first became interested in radio when, on his second day of college, he was introduced to famed radio talk show host, David Brudnoy.

Cox found Brudnoy fascinating and remembers wanting desperately to grab the microphone and take on the role of “co-host.” Brudnoy became a mentor to David until his passing in December of 2004. After graduating David moved to Los Angeles for a 18 month stint, then returned to the East Coast as Director of “The Center for Youth Drunk Driving Prevention” until the economic collapse of 2008.

Eight months of unemployment and a few odd jobs later, David answered an ad on CraigsList simply worded “looking for a Mac guy.” Together with owner, Michael McLaughlin, he helped shape Core Computers, Inc. to be one of the top Apple sales and service providers on Cape Cod. Specializing in “presenting technology at a consumer friendly level,” David gives seminars, private lessons and is often booked several months in advance. He has also created over 60 tutorial videos on YouTube, attracting thousands of viewers.

In mid 2010, David was introduced to his now co-host, Allen Gallant and the two immediately hit it off. Within 3 days of launching “Tech Talk America,” Cox and Gallant received an e-mail from the company hosting their podcast that they had exceeded their maximum bandwidth, a good sign that the public approved of the show. Tech Talk America is now available on iTunes and has a five star rating.
