A Photo Essay
By John Bateman | August 26, 2011
As the nights begin to draw in, and the summer sun wanes, the New England staple of the Country Fair is a fond memory for many.
This past weekend, the Bridgewater Country Fair was held in the heart of Bridgewater as it has each summer for generations. One thirty-something declared, “the Bridgewater Fair was my childhood.” And he meant it.
Here are a few photographs of the fair to give you a feel of the wonderful event which raises money for the local volunteer fire department.
If you missed out this year, find out when your local fair is next year, and be sure to join in the fun.
