Peter Greenwood Creates a Paperweight

Glass nuggets are melted in the furnace to create molten glass.
Peter inserts a pre-warmed steel rod into molten glass.
The glass is rolled into colored frits which add color.
Peter uses shears to cut the end off the glass.
The mould shapes the glass.
Peter inserts a hole which forms an air bubble.
Peter shapes the glass using a cherry wood block.
Peter 'pinches' the glass.
The glass is ready to be cut from the rod.
The finished paperweight.
